Road cut with transition between Abu Shaybah/Abu Ghaylan Formations and different carbonate facies of Abu Ghaylan. Stop 4. Kiklah Formation channel in fills in eroded top Abu Ghaylan Formation conglomeratic sandstone with large extraclasts of older carbonate rocks suggesting a local source. Stop 5. Kiklah/Sidi as Sid Fm contact . Stop 6. Rudist banks in Ain Tobi Member.
Stops 7 & 8. Lateral Facies changes along the old Gharyan Mountain road. Optional Stop: Gharyan potteries. Optional Stop: Kaf Tekut Ring Dike. Stop 9. Gasr Tigrinnah Formation at Qasr Tigrinnah. Qasr Bu Niran, Bajocian transgressive marker. Stop 4. Takbal Formation. Stop 5. Sandstones of the upper member of Khashm a Zarzur Formation. Stop 6. Ain Tobi Member in Taghmah section. Stop 7. Ain Tobi Member & Yefren Member. Optional Cultural Stops. Day 4 (Yifren-Benghazi):
