Lithostratigraphy
Moody-Sandman Associates (with over 30 years experience as geological consultants in North Africa/Libya) provide both visual and petrographic analysis of cuttings, conventional core and sidewall cores to provide a regional stratigraphic framework (see regional studies for an example from NE Libya).
Ditch cuttings are described in detail and graphically illustrated, normally at a scale of 1:200. Electric-log responses refine the formation tops. Detailed logs are presented in Apple-Core and StrataBug formats.
